FREDRIK NOREN MEAN JAZZ MACHINE October 2008
October 12th-25th 2008 I did a tour of Sweden with a four horn constellation that trumpeter Fredrik Noren put together. Eric Alexander and Dick Oatts played saxophones, Peter Dahlgren trombone and the rhythm section consisted of Lars Jansson on piano, Martin Sjöstedt on bass and myself on drums. The members of the band also wrote new music for this project! We had great fun and the music really took off after a few nights. The concert at Fasching was recorded by the Swedish radio and will possibly be released later on CD. Can't wait!
