TIM RIES ROLLING STONES PROJECT July '09
My friend the saxophonist Tim Ries has already released two cd's of his beautiful renditions of the Rolling Stones tunes and this summer I will tour Europe with his band. Featured also from the Stones are the bassist Darryl Jones and vocalist Bernard Fowler and for a concert or two we will be joined by the beautiful vocalist Lisa Fischer and trombonist Mike Davis and fado vocalists Ana Moura and Natalie Pires. Jordi Bonell from Spain will play guitar. You can hear us at least in Lisbon, Milan, Klagenfurt, Uppsala, Gothenburg, Copenhagen....all this in July '09
